Naturalisation as a British Citizen (Adult)

Naturalisation is the process through which adults who have lived in the UK for a certain period and wish to obtain British citizenship can do so.

This process applies to adults who hold Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) or Settled Status under the EU Settlement Scheme and meet specific eligibility conditions.

Becoming a British citizen offers many advantages, including the right to apply for a British passport, access to certain benefits and financial support, and the ability to vote in all UK elections.
